Day 1

Today I have to admit I was extremely overwhelmed.  The amount I thought I knew but don't, scared me.  There is much to learn and not much time to do it.  The amount of assignments scares me.  I am the type of person who likes lists, things layed out in front of me so I can see what is due when so I know I won't miss anything, the way that the ACORN site is set up, with so much information, overwhelms me and makes me feel like I will miss something. Hopefully, this shall not be the case.  The professor is very nice, unlike his frightening old man email, he seems very laid back and relaxed but holds us to a professional standard, which I think is completely fair and exemplifies what the real world of teaching will be like.  I am excited about this course, but also excited for it to over and have another one down!
